Pokémon Duel

It has been announced that the next Software update for Pokémon Duel (Ver. 6.0.0) would be released on Monday (April 2nd). Alongside the new features and Pokémon, mentioned below, various changes are going into effect with this update:

Decidueye

  • Spirit Shackle: damage increased from 100 to 120
  • Phantom Arrow: damage increased from 70 to 90

Articuno

  • Steel Wind: damage increased from 70 to 130

Zekrom

  • Fusion Bolt: now specifies Fusion Flare instead of Reshiram

Reshiram

  • Fusion Bolt: now specifies Fusion Bolt instead of Zekrom

Treecko

  • Figure alteration: adds Wall-Clim, a new Ability that allows it to move over other Pokémon with MP Move
  • Pound replaced by Quick Attack
  • Slam: damage increased from 30 to 40

Other changes

  • Night Slash: effects will be changed
  • Volt Switch: effects will be changed

 

But that’s not all: a trailer for the update was revealed yesterday. Here it is:

This trailer shows that the update will also add Black Kyurem, White Kyurem, even more new Pokémon, the Tournament functionality (with pre-tournaments scheduled for April), and new social features.

Pokkén Tournament DX

Earlier this week, the latest Official Group Match for Pokkén Tournament DX was announced. Here’s all you need to know about it:

  • Name: Searing Blaze Group Match
  • Type: Basic Battle, Fixed Battle Arena
  • Runs from April 6th to April 8th
  • Time: 3AM PT to 7PM PT / 6AM ET to 10PM ET / 5AM GMT to 9PM GMT / 6AM CET to 10AM CET / 6AM JST to 10PM JST
  • Participation prize: Searing Blaze (title)
  • Ranking Prizes:
  1. Places 1 to 10 – Chrom League Master
  2. Places 11 to 30 – Red League Master
  3. Places 31 to 60 – Blue League Master
  4. Places 61 to 100 – Green League Master
