Pokémon Sun and Moon – Global Mission

Today, the latest Global Mission for Pokémon Sun and Moon went live. In this one, players have to hatch as many Pokémon eggs as possible, with 200 000 being the initial goal. The secondary goal is 400 000 eggs hatched. There’s also a personal goal, where you have to hatch at least 3 eggs yourself.

Here’s the rewards you can get:

  • Success (initial goal): 2 000 Festival Coins (regular players) / 4 000 Festival Coins (PGL members)
  • Failure: 200 Festival Coins (regular players) / 400 Festival Coins (PGL members)
  • Success (secondary goal): Love Ball (PGL members)
  • Success (personal goal):  5 Rare Candies (PGL members)

To join a Global Mission, you need to do the following:

  • headed to the Festival Plaza;
  • go into the castle;
  • speak to the receptionist on the right to register;
  • make sure to regularly use the Game-Sync feature to have all the Eggs you hatch added to the global count.

In case you forgot, or simply never paid attention, you can discover Eggs when you leave Pokémon at the Pokémon Nursery at Paniola Ranch on Akala Island. You need to leave a male and female Pokémon from the same Egg Group, or any Pokémon (male or female) with a Ditto.

You then have to walk around with the egg for it hatch, though you can keep a Pokémon with either the Flame Body or Magma Armor Ability in your party to make it hatch twice as fast.
