Pokémon Direct

Here’s some more screenshots for two of the games showcased during yesterday’s Pokémon Direct presentation, namely:

  • Pokkén Tournament (Nintendo Switch, out on September 22nd)
  • Pokémon Gold and Silver (Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console, out on September 22nd)

Pokémon Duel

Today, a new update for Pokémon Duel was released. It brings the game to Ver. 3.0.10, with the list of changes to be found on this page.

This update also adds the following:

  • EX Figures: Swampert, Seismitoad, Suicune
  • R Figures: Marshtomp, Stunfisk, Sharpedo
  • UC Figures: Palpitoad, Tympole, Seaking, Goldeen, Crawdaunt
  • Orange Time boosters (guaranteed to hold either a Water or Ground-type Pokémon)
  • new plate.

Speaking of Pokémon Duel, it’s been announced that the game has been download over 20 million times worldwide since its launch in April 2016 (initially, only in Japan). To celebrate, some Sextuple Boosters are now available in-game, for a limited time.

Pokémon Sun and Moon (anime)

Here’s the latest promotional video for the Pokémon Sun and Moon anime series, focusing on the Z Moves:

Pokkén Tournament (Arcade)

Tomorrow, a new event will go live in Pokkén Tournament on Arcade, in Japan, and will run until June 18th. This event will allow players to enjoy the following:

  • a nationwide tournament to determine the strongest Battle Pokémon (with global ranking for all Pokémon, but also Top 10 for each Pokémon separately)
  • a new mission panel with rewards to unlock (avatar items, custom titles, and more)
  • new Special Bonus to unlock Support Pokémon sets, new special skills, avatar items,
  • new clothing items for your avatar
