Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon – Pokémon distribution

Today, The Pokémon Company shared some details about the Shiny Poipole distribution we learned about earlier this week. It’s a bit special: not only is it Shiny, it also knows Dragon Pulse from the getgo, allowing you to quickly evolve it into Naganadel.

The Serial Code will be available from March 2nd to April 9th, from the following stores (but only after showing them your copy of the game): Aeon, Aeon Style, Ito Yokado, Edion, Geo, 7-11, Tsutaya, Toys R Us, Nojima, BIC Camera, Kozima, Soft Map, Futaba Book, Heiwado, Yamada Denki, Yodobashi Camera, Wondergoo, Amazon, Rakuten and Pokémon Centers.

Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon – Battle Competition

Today, registrations for the second online competition for Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon went announced. It’s called Ultra Sinnoh Classic, and here’s all you need to know about it:

  • Pokémon allowed: Pokémon from the Sinnoh Pokédex (including Pokémon transferred via Poké Transporter)
  • Pokémon banned: regional variant of allowed Pokémon, but also Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Phione, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin, and Arceus;
  • Battles: Single Battles, Team of 6 Pokémon and 3 sent to battle;
  • Level: 50 (dropped to 50 if above);
  • Items: all allowed, with the exception of Mega Stoens and Z-Crystals. Also, two Pokémon cannot have the same Hold Item;
  • Participation prize: 50 Battle Points (need to battle at least once);
  • Registration: February 15th to February 22nd;
  • Battles: February 23rd to February 25th;
  • Results announced sometime in March.

If you want to train for this Online Competition, you can do so by downloading the rules from the Festival Plaza.

Pokémon Duel

On Wednesday, the latest update for Pokémon Duel went live: Ver. 5.0.9. This update adds several new figures and Plates:

  • UX figures = Guzzlord, Mega Sableye, Mega Altaria
  • EX figures = Altaria, Zoroark
  • R figures = Shiinotic, Zorua
  • UC figures = Swablu, Morelull
  • New plates

Pokémon The Movie

From the latest issue of CoroCoro magazine we learn that Lugia will play a role in the upcoming movie, debuting in July in Japan. Unfortunately, that’s all we know for now, though the magazine also teases an important scoop on that Pokémon for the next issue. They also ask readers to pay attention to Lugia this year, though it’s not clear why yet.
