Pokémon GO

Earlier this week, another event for Pokémon GO. For a limited time (until April 17th), Pokémon from the Kanto are appearing more frequently in-game: the perfect opportunity for (new) players to complete their Pokédex and earn a gold Kanto medal. But that’s not all: certain Pokémon such as Aerodactyle and Snorlax are currently being featured in Raid Battles across the world.

Also, during this event, all actions net you double Candy, and special boxes containing Raid Passes are available:

  • Special Box (480 Coins): 6 Premium Raid Passes, 10 Pinap Berrys, and 4 Lure Modules
  • Great Box (780 Coins): 6 Incense, 6 Lucky Egg, 12 Premium Raid Passes, and 16 Pinap Berry
  • Ultra Box (1 480 Coins): 12 Lucky Eggs, 24 Premium Raid Passes, 14 Star Pieces, and 10 Lure Modules

Pokémon Shuffle

On Tuesday, some more returning content for Pokémon Shuffle went live:

  • the Ultra Challenge featuring Pheromosa is back until April 17th;
  • the Great Challenge featuring Gyarados is also back until April 17th;
  • the Great Challenge featuring Shiny Metagross is also back until April 17th;
  • the Great Challenge featuring Noivern is also back until April 17th;
  • the Great Challenge featuring Passimian is also back until April 17th;
  • the Great Challenge featuring Minior is also back until April 17th;
  • the latest set of Daily Pokémon includes: Oricorio Pom-Pom Style, Wishiwashi, Komala, Fomantis, and Torracat (available until April 17th);
  • the latest One Chance Per Day stage featuring Pinsir (available until April 17th);
  • the Competitive Stage featuring Mega Gyarados is back until April 17th;
  • the Pokémon Safari featuring Salandit, Alolan Geodude, Roggenrola, Alolan Graveler, Boldore, Rockruff, Mareanie, Togedemaru, Alolan Golem, and Gigalith is available until April 24th.

Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon – Battle Competition

Earlier this week, the latest Battle Competition for Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon was announced. It’s called the Ultra Kalos Classic, and here’s all you need to know about it:

  • Pokémon allowed: Pokémon from the Kalos Pokédex (including those brought via Poké Transporter, but excluding Alolan variants)
  • Pokémon banned: Xerneas, Yveltal, Zygarde, Mewtwo, Diancie, Hoopa, Volcanion, Alolan Forms and Ash-Greninja
  • Battles: Single Battles, Team of 6 Pokémon and 3 sent to battle;
  • Level: 50 (dropped to 50 if above);
  • Items: all allowed, except Z Crystals. Two Pokémon cannot have the same Hold Item;
  • Participation prize: 50 Battle Points (need to battle at least once)
  • Registration: April 19th to April 26th
  • Battles: April 27th to April 29th
  • Results announced sometime in May

Pokkén Tournament DX

Earlier this week, the latest Official Group Match for Pokkén Tournament DX was announced. Here’s all you need to know about it:

  • Name: Outrage Smasher
  • Type: Team Battle, Fixed Battle Arena
  • Runs from April 20th to April 23rd
  • Time: 3AM PT to 7PM PT / 6AM ET to 10PM ET / 5AM GMT to 9PM GMT / 6AM CET to 10AM CET / 6AM JST to 10PM JST
  • Participation prize: Outrage Smasher (title)
  • Ranking Prizes:
  1. Places 1 to 10 – Chrom League Master
  2. Places 11 to 30 – Red League Master
  3. Places 31 to 60 – Blue League Master
  4. Places 61 to 100 – Green League Master

Pokémon Duel

Yesterday, another event for Pokémon Duel went live: the Grass Gym Cup. Here’s all you need to know:

  • Runs from April 12th to April 16th
  • Grass-type Movement 0, 1, and 2 figures = +1 Movement;
  • Ice-type figures = +20 Attack (for each attack);
  • Gym Boosters available, with the contents increasing with your winning streak.
  • Mow Rotom figure available as reward
  • Trophies will be distributed to qualifying players after the event.

Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon – Pokémon distribution

Yesterday, another Pokémon distribution was announced for Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon… in South Korea this time! Since it’s meant to coincide with the release of Pokémon The Movie: Rise of Darkrai, it’s no wonder it will allow players to get their hands on Darkrai (the first time ever this generation). The distribution will take place from April 27th to May 27th.
