Pokémon Duel

Today, a new event for Pokémon Duel went live: it’s the Grass Gym Cup, which is running until April 26th. Here’s what you need to know about it:

  • Grass-type Movement 1 & 2 figures = +1 for movement
  • Poison-type figures = +20 Attack (for each attack)
  • Gym Boosters available, with the contents increasing with your winning streak (full list of rewards can be found on Serebii). Said boosters have to be redeemed before May 2nd.

Pokémon Shuffle

Today, a new Competitive Stage featuring Hoopa went live in Pokémon Shuffle. Here’s the various rewards you can claim, depending on your overall rank:

  • Top 100 players in Europe, Top 100 players in North America, and Top 500 players in Japan = 1 Skill Swapper, 5 Mega Speedup, and 10 Raise Max Level;
  • Top 300 players in Europe, Top 400 players in North America, and Top 1 500 players in Japan = 1 Skill Swapper, 4 Mega Speedup, and 8 Raise Max Level;
  • Top 500 players in Europe, Top 800 players in North America, and Top 3 000 players in Japan = 1 Skill Swapper, 3 Mega Speedup, and 6 Raise Max Level;
  • Top 900 players in Europe, Top 1 300 players in North America, and Top 5 000 players in Japan = 1 Skill Swapper, 2 Mega Speedup, and 4 Raise Max Level;
  • Top 1 800 players in Europe, Top 2 500 players in North America, and Top 10 000 players in Japan = 1 Skill Swapper, 2 Mega Speedup, and 2 Raise Max Level;
  • Top 3 600 players in Europe, Top 5 100 players in North America, and Top 20 000 players in Japan = 1 Skill Swapper, 1 Mega Speedup, and 1 Raise Max Level;
  • Top 5 400 players in Europe, Top 8 000 players in North America, and Top 30 000 players in Japan = 1 Skill Swapper, 1 Mega Speedup, and 1 Skill Booster M;

Pokémon Sun and Moon (Battle Competition)

Today, registration for the latest Battle Competition for Pokémon Sun and Moon went live. It’s called the 2017 International Challenge April, and here’s everything you need to know about it:

  • Format: Double Battles, 4 Pokémon per battle;
  • Pokémon restrictions: only Pokémon caught, traded, hatched, or received as Mystery Gift in Pokémon Sun and Moon, that can found in the Alola Pokédex (also, only the Alolan form of Pokémon from the Kanto region can be used);
  • Pokémon banned: Zygarde, Cosmog, Cosmoem, Solgaleo, Lunala, Necrozma, and Magearna;
  • Item restrictions: all items allowed except Mega Stone. Two Pokémon cannot be holding the same Hold Item;
  • Level: 1 to 100, but level capped to 50 during battles
  • Registration: April 19th to April 27th. Participant limit: 50 000
  • Battles: April 28th to April 30th, with a limit of 15 battles/player and /day;
  • Results: announced sometime in May;
  • Participation gift (must complete at least 3 battles): Sceptilite Mega Stone, Blazikenite Mega Stone, and Swampertite. Also, some participants will also receive some Championship Points.
