Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon: new trailer (Kommo-o’s exclusive Z-Move), Alola Photo Club revealed

Today, the Pokémon World Championships debuted at Anaheim (California, United States), and as usual, there were a couple of announcements during the opening ceremony. When Junichi Masuda came on stage, he showed a brand new trailer for Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, which focuses exclusively on one Pokémon: Kommo-o.

And there’s a good reason for that: this new trailer reveals an exclusive Z-Move, called Clangorous Soulblaze. No other Pokémon can get it! It’s one of the new Z-Moves mentioned in this post, made possible thanks to the new Z-Power Ring.

Also, Game Informer uploaded a new video as part of their Game Freak coverage, and this one actually has some exclusive gameplay footage… revealing a new feature called Alola Photo Club. As the name implies, it has you take various pictures of your trainer with Pokémon in your party.

For your pictures, you can choose the pose, decorations, clothes for your trainer, lenses, props, the position of the characters in the picture, and more. Once you’ve taken the picture, you can also edit it using the touchscreen.

In order to take pictures, you need to go to the Photo Studio. However, there are also special occasions where you will be able to take pictures outside the Photo Studio, such as when a Pokémon is evolving for example (but you only have a small window to go into photo mode).

Also, not all elements are available from the beginning: you need to progress through the game, and deepen your bond with your Pokémon to unlock them. But don’t worry, you will not have to grind or do anything especially difficult: the various elements will unlock “naturally”, as you play.
