Pokémon Sun and Moon – Global Mission #2

The second Global Mission #2 ended yesterday, and the results are finally. Unfortunately, it once again ended in failure, as players only found and caught/defeated 661 839 Pokémon via Island Scan. For this second Global Mission to succeed, players needed to find and catch/defeat at least 1 million Pokémon via Island Scan.

Players can now get their consolation prize: 434FC (or 217 FC if you haven’t linked your copy of Pokémon Sun and Moon to the Pokémon Global Link).

Pokémon Sun and Moon: Munchlax distribution

If you still haven’t claimed your special Munchlax for Pokémon Sun and Moon, you better hurry: the distribution will end tomorrow (January 11th). Don’t forget that this Munchlax also comes with the Snorlium Z, which allows you to use the Giga Impact Z move with Snorlax, that cannot be found during normal gameplay.

Pokémon Sun and Moon – Special Battle Season 2

Today, The Pokémon Company revealed the rules for the Special Battle Season 2, which are as follow:

  • Battle: Single Battle;
  • Pokémon Restrictions: National Pokédex (including Pokémon transferred from previous Pokémon games, via the Pokémon Bank / Poké Transporter. Also, you can only use one of the following Pokémon in your team:  Mewtwo, Mew, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Celebi, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Jirachi, Deoxys, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Phione, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin, Arceus, Victini, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, Keldeo, Meloetta, Genesect, Xerneas, Yveltal, Zygarde, Diancie, Hoopa, Volcanion, Cosmog, Cosmoem, Solgaleo, Lunala, Necrozma, and Magearna;
  • Level: Level 50 (level automatically lowered if above that);
  • Team: you send 3 Pokémon to battle ;
  • Item restrictions: 2 Pokémon cannot hold the same hold item.

Also, Single Battle and Double Battle on Rating Battle on Battle Spot will be updated: they will allow National Pokédex,with Legendary and Mythical Pokémon still banned. Pokémon from Pokémon X, Y, Omega Ruby, and Alpha Sapphire will be useable, but so far, there’s no mention of Pokémon obtained through Poké Transporter.
