One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 Deluxe Edition announced for Switch, out in December in Japan

And another “Warriors” game for the Nintendo Switch! After Dragon Quest Heroes I and II at launch in Japan, Fire Emblem Warriors (September 28th in Japan, October 20th in Europe and North America), and three separate games on November 9th in Japan, One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 Deluxe Edition is now headed to the Nintendo Switch!

The One Piece Pirate Warriors series (which already has shipped more than 4 million units worldwide) is basically One Piece meets “Warriors”. And this Deluxe Edition is the same as the one for One Piece Unlimited World Red: it includes all the DLC ever released for it (over 40 different items, including extra costumes and challenges).

One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 Deluxe Edition can be played either Solo, or with another player in Local co-op. Unfortunately, the game cannot be played with just one Joy-Con: you will need to have both for each player. Also, Bandai-Namco specifies that the game cannot be played online, unlike the other versions.

And here’s the various specs:

  • TV Mode: 1920 x 1080, 60fps
  • Handheld and Tabletop Mode: 1280 x 720, 30fps

One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 Deluxe Edition will be released on December 21st in Japan, and will cost 5 800 Yen + taxes.
