North America: Lime Green New Nintendo 3DS XL now available

In the past couple of years, Nintendo of America has taken an interesting approach for new (New) Nintendo 3DS (XL) colours in North America. Most of them are announced pretty close to release, instead of weeks/months in advance. This approach was pushed to the extreme with the New Galaxy Style New Nintendo 3DS XL, announced right when Nintendo was starting shipping it to retailers.

And it turns out that Nintendo went one step further with the Lime Green New Nintendo 3DS XL, which wasn’t even announced before it was available on Amazon.com. This new colour is part of a special pack, that includes:

• the usual contents of the New Nintendo 3DS XL pack
• Super Mario World (pre-loaded on the SD Card)

Its price? $199.99, the standard price for a New Nintendo 3DS XL, which means you get a free game along with your console… pretty neat!

If you’re interested, you can now order it on Amazon.com,… in fact, it’s the only place from where you can get this New Nintendo 3DS XL colour (over are the days when Amazon.com simply refused to sell any Nintendo Hardware period)!
