Nintendo Switch: new “interactive experience” for kids to be revealed later today

Last week, the very first Nintendo Direct of the year shed some light on several games coming to the Nintendo Switch in 2018, and more specifically the first half of the year. Since it was a “Mini” presentation, many fans wondered whether a full-fledged presentation was coming soon. But if there is one, it’s most likely not going to be this week, because the company has announced it will reveal something else later today.

That “something” is introduced as a “new interactive experience for Nintendo Switch that’s specially crafted for kids and those who are kids at heart”. It’s absolutely not clear what this could be, but considering Nintendo is actually teasing that reveal, it’s most likely something more important than just a single game.

Could it be a new Nintendo Switch model specially targeted at kids (smaller, cheaper, more durable)? A special game or service? We will find out in just a few hours!

Here’s when the reveal will take place today:

  • Europe: 11PM
  • UK: 10PM
  • North America (ET): 5PM
  • North America (PT): 2PM
  • Japan: 7AM (tomorrow)

It’s not clear if there will be a livestream or not, but whatever is revealed later today will be shared on the following pages:

Naturally, we will also have a separate post (or several) with all the details about this announcement later today, when it goes live!
