Nintendo: global Fire Emblem Direct presentation announced for today, will focus on upcoming titles

Last week, during the Nintendo Treehouse Live with Nintendo Switch livestream, Nintendo announced that there would be a Nintendo Direct presentation entirely dedicated to the Fire Emblem series on January 18th. It was only announced for North America initially, but today, Nintendo made a formal announcement, and confirmed that it would be a global presentation.

If you’re wondering what this presentation is all about, Nintendo specifies that it will focus on upcoming Fire Emblem titles. One of them is the smart device game that was announced a few months ago, and was delayed to Q1 2017. We can imagine that there will also be something for the Nintendo Switch (besides Fire Emblem Warriors), though there’s no way to know what exactly, or when it will be released.

Here’s when this Fire Emblem Direct presentation will be streamed live:

  • Europe: 11PM on January 18th
  • UK: 10PM on January 18th
  • North America (ET): 5PM on January 18th
  • North America (PT): 2PM on January 18th
  • Japan: 7AM on January 19th
