Nintendo 3DS: new Firmware update available (Ver. 9.9.0-26)

Over a month ago (on June 2nd), Nintendo released a new Firmware update for the Nintendo 3DS, but it didn’t include any new feature (for the second time in a row). In fact, the last time one was added was back in March, which is why Nintendo 3DS users are eager to see when the next substantial update for the Nintendo 3DS is going to be released.

Today, a brand new Firmware update for the Nintendo 3DS is available for download, and unfortunately, this isn’t the substantial update everyone was hoping for. Here’s the official changelog:

Further improvements to overall system stability, system security, and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience

To download this new Firmware (ver. 9.9.0-26) for the Nintendo 3DS, you can simply go to System Settings > Other Settings > 5 > System update, while being connected to the internet.
