[N-Direct] Kirby: Battle Royale revealed for 3DS, Copy Ability Poll, more

During the latest Nintendo Direct presentation, the mysterious Kirby multiplayer title on Nintendo 3DS (teased in a previous presentation) was finally revealed. It’s Kirby: Battle Royale, and it’s releasing on November 3rd in Europe, November 30th in Japan, and… January 19th in North America. Yes, you read that right: Europe is actually getting a Kirby game first.

Kirby: Battle Royale features no less than 10 different battle modes, such as:

  • Battle Arena: Battle Royale, with the winner being the last Kirby standing;
  • Ore Express mode: you have to hoard treasure until the fastest Kirby wins

The game also features a Single Player story mode, and local / online battles (online is region-locked).

Also, as part of the celebrations for the Kirby 25th Anniversary, Nintendo is hosting the Kirby 25th Anniversary Copy Ability Global Poll. Basically, fans can vote for their favourite ability, and the winning one will be used for a special wallpaper and Nintendo 3DS Themes… it may also be added to Kirby: Battle Royale!
