Monster Hunter Stories: a look at the latest DLC (Jan. 13th/20th)

Today is Friday, which means it’s time to take a look at the latest batch of DLC for Monster Hunter Stories. And since we didn’t have time to do it last week, due to the Nintendo Switch event and following news, we’re also going to take a look at last week’s DLC in this post!

Let’s start with last week’s DLC:

• Special tournament: Big Mountain Tournament (Rank: Platinum). You can get a special weapon if you manage to win (only the first time around). The weapon is a Hammer called Jupiter Glove;
• Sub-Quest (Rank: ★７): allows you to get the required materials to craft the Oyasumi Bear (lit. Good Night Bear), which happens to be a weapon (more precisely a Hammer).

• Sub-Quest (Rank: ★7): a special quest where you have to go defeat the Kirin, so you can get the materials required to craft equipment based on that monster;
• the latest wave of Monster Hunter Spirits 2: Triple Souls collaboration quests, available from Arcade centers with that game from:

1. Quest #1: January 26th and February 2nd
2. Quest #2: January 27th and February 3rd
3. Quest #3: January 28th and February 4th
4. Quest #4: January 29th and February 5th
5. Quest #5: January 30th and February 6th
6. Quest #6: January 31st and February 7th
7. Quest #7: February 1st and February 8th
