MixedBag Games @ Nintendo Switch – forma.8: trailer and release date / Wheels of Aurelia announced

MixedBag Games confirmed pretty recently that they were bringing forma.8 to the Nintendo Switch. The good news is, you won’t have to wait much longer before being able to play it, because it will be released next week, on August 24th! Of course, that’s for both Europe and North America, who get it on the same day. It will cost $9.99 / 9.99€.

Wheels of Aurelia

Initially announced for the Wii U, it’s on Nintendo Switch that Wheels of Aurelia will be released, courtesy of MixedBag Games. Developed by Santa Ragione, Wheels of Aurelia is a “narrative road trip game”, set in the roaring Italy from the 1970’s. You get to follow the story of Lella, a restless woman driving on the roads of the infamous Via Aurelia, on the western coast of Italy.

The Wheels of Aurelia is an interactive fiction and an isometric driving game, with a pretty itneresting twist: every playthrough lasts only 15 minutes, but there’s a total of 16 different endings to discover. The focus is quite clearly on replayability!

Here’s how it all works:

The 1970s in Italy were a time of terrorism, kidnappings, and political turmoil. Based on your choices and the places you’ll decide to visit you may end up in car chases, illegal street races, or in tense debates with a catholic priest, and more from a cast of characters that you have never met before in a video game.
