Today, Nintendo announced some more maintenance for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS online services. You will find all the details below, but be careful: some of the maintenance only applies to specific regions.

Today, Nintendo announced that the Nintendo eShop on both the Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS would be down for 4h next week, on Monday (evening). And for the first time since November 23rd, the Wii Shop Channel and the DSi Shop will also be impacted by this maintenance. As usual, Nintendo didn’t give any other details than what you will find below.
Also, please note more maintenance (for Wii U / Nintendo 3DS games) should be announced by Monday evening.
Here’s the list of services impacted during the first period:
- Wii U: Nintendo eShop (all online services)
- Nintendo 3DS: Nintendo eShop (all online services)
- Wii: Wii Shop Channel
- Nintendo DS: DSi Shop
- Web: buying games from Nintendo’s website (all online services) [Japan-only]
The maintenance will take place on:
- Europe: February 8th (9PM) to February 9th (1AM)
- UK: February 8th (8PM) to February 9th (12AM)
- North America (ET): February 8th (3PM to 7PM)
- North America (PT): February 8th (12PM to 4PM)
- Japan: February 9th (5AM to 9AM)
