LEGO City Undercover: second trailer reveals co-op, costumes, release date

A few months ago, Warner Bros. announced that LEGO City Undercover would get a port on the Nintendo Switch this Spring. The initial announcement was pretty light on detail (that’s quite the understatement), but more details were shared along the very first trailer last month.

And today, Warner Bros shared a second trailer for the game, which does reveal quite a lot of things. For starters, it confirms the rumours: yes, this version of LEGO City Undercover will indeed feature co-op, allowing two young recruits to go fight crime in LEGO City together. Unfortunately, it’s not clear whether this feature will work online or not.

The trailer also showcases the two new costumes with special abilities: Clown and Boxer. We also get to see some of the 300 unlockable and playable characters. Finally, it reveals that LEGO City Undercover will be released on April 4th in North America, and April 7th .

Here’s the second trailer for LEGO City Undercover on Nintendo Switch:

Hopefully, Warner Bros. will detail the various new features and elements in upcoming updates!

LEGO City Undercover (Switch) comes out on April 4th in North America, April 7th in Europe, and later this year in Japan. The Upcoming Releases page has been updated!
