Last week, Koei-Tecmo announced they were bringing their strategy games to the Nintendo Switch: Romance of the Three Kingdoms 13 with Power-Up Kit and Nobunaga’s Ambition: Spheres of Influence with Power-Up Kit. Today, the publisher sent a press release to share additional details about this Nintendo Switch version of boths games (such as the exclusive features), but also the release dates.
Romance of the Three Kingdoms 13 with Power-Up Kit
The Nintendo Switch version of the game will feature three exclusive features:
- HD Rumble: the Joy-Con will vibrate in accordance with what is happening on screen, allowing you to really feel swords clashing, gongs being rung, and more;
- IR Camera: you will be able to use the IR Camera from the right Joy-Con in order to create warlords. How? It’s pretty simple: you “scan” various objects using the IR Camera, and it will create a warlord based on the object’s shape and texture;
- Touscreen: you will be able to use the touchscreen to perform various actions, such as zooming, moving units around, and more.

Nobunaga’s Ambition: Sphere of Influence with Power-Up Kit
The Nintendo Switch version of Nobunaga’s Ambition: Sphere of Influence with Power-Up Kit will also feature some exclusive content/features, such as:
- new story content;
- all the DLC released so far is included, for free;
- IR Camera: you will be able to use the IR Camera from the right Joy-Con in order to create warlords. How? It’s pretty simple: you “scan” various objects using the IR Camera, and it will create a warlord based on the object’s shape and texture.
