Japan: Top 10 for the Nintendo eShop (January 2 – 8, 2016)

Nintendo eShop

In Japan, Nintendo is regularly posting weekly rankings for the Nintendo eShop on its website (more precisely, its Topics section). Obviously, there’s no actual sales data, but they give us a good idea of what Japanese players are buying on the Nintendo eShop. Also, please note the rankings below include digital pre-orders, which explains why some unreleased games are charting.

On Nintendo 3DS, Super Mario Bros. 3 is the new best-seller (thanks to the New Year sale), while on Wii U, there’s also a new best-seller: Super Mario World!
