Japan: Nintendo releasing the Metallic Red New Nintendo 3DS XL on August 27th

On August 27th, one of the biggest releases of the year will come out in Japan: the Nintendo 3DS version of Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King. There will not be a special bundle (unlike Monster Hunter X in November), but Nintendo is still gonna release a litte something on that day… a new colour of New Nintendo 3DS XL!

The colour itself isn’t completely new, though, as it’s the same Metallic Red model that came out at launch in North America (instead of the Metallic Blue one, which is rumoured to come out next month). Obviously, the contents of the pack will be the same as a regular New Nintendo 3DS XL (which means the AC Adapter is sold separately), just like its price (18 800 + taxes).
