[Japan] Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary sale now live on the Nintendo eShop

This year, the Final Fantasy series is celebrating its 30th Anniversary (the very first game was released on December 18th in Japan). To celebrate, Square-Enix has prepared various games and events, such as a sale on many digital storefronts… including the Nintendo eShop of the Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS!

Starting today, various Final Fantasy games are available with a 50% off discount for a full week (until February 13th, to be more precise). Naturally, that sales is for both “original” titles (such as Final Fantasy Explorers) and Virtual Console titles.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like Square-Enix is planning to host a Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary sale in Europe and North America.
