[Japan] Famitsu: digital sales estimates for November 2017

In the latest issue, Famitsu shares its usual digital sales estimates for the Japanese market, in November 2017 specifically. We already discussed those when some data leaked at the beginning of the week, but the full data is now available!

As mentioned on Monday, Dragon Quest X enjoyed some pretty strong sales, which actually mirror retail sales (both the amount of units sold and platform ranking). Considering you cannot resell the game (you need a valid licence for it), it makes sense that it would have strong digital sales.

Meanwhile, sales of Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon are on the low side, which is no surprise for a family-focused game with ample supply at retail. As for Shinobi Refle -Senran Kagura-, it’s off to a strong start with over 30 000 units sold in just a week. It will be interesting to see where total sales end up.

Finally, Nintendo Presents: New Style Boutique 3 – Styling Star had a pretty low debut, but just like Pokémon, it’s hardly surprising for a family-friendly title on Nintendo 3DS that didn’t suffer from shortages.
