Hive JumpHive Jump

On Tuesday, Graphite Lab posted a massive update for Hive Jump on Kickstarter, which covers the following topics:

  • Early Access Date Announced (for PC)
  • Scorcher Boss Preview
  • More Aliens Detected in the Hive
  • Weapons Upgrade
  • New Relics Located
  • Wii U FAQ

About the Wii U version, Graphite Lab confirmed that it would not feature online multiplayer after all: a decision that was taken after carefully exploring all possible options. As for amiibo, they explained that they were focusing on “creating some really fun integration” based on the character scanned. Finally, they explained that the Wii U GamePad would display a special mini-map (including the contours of the level, and the location of important areas or items to discover in each level).

Punch Club

Punch Club is a sporting simulation game, where you manage a boxer in training. You do so while searching for clues of whoever killed their father. It originally came out on PC and smart devices, but it’s now making its way to the Nintendo 3DS. Yesterday, tinyBuild showed a picture of the game running on a regular Nintendo 3DS (which means the game will not be a New Nintendo 3DS exclusive, despite originally running on Unity).

It looks like this port will be done by PlayEveryWare.

  • new areas and game sections they’re working on;
  • the tweaking and polishing of earlier areas;
  • the updating and developing the game’s interfaces (NPC shops, dialog engine, menu interfaces)
  • and more…

Tadpole Treble

Here’s a musical easter egg found in Tadpole Treble:

Lifespeed

Today, Wee Man Studios announced that Lifespeed (a New Nintendo 3DS exclusive) had been sent to lotcheck at Nintendo, which means that a release should be announced pretty soon!

Runbow

Yesterday, nindie.ch posted an interview with 13AM Games, about Runbow. It covers various topics, such as why they chose to release Runbow only on Wii U, reaction/feedback about the options for colour-blind people, the impact of the Humble Friends of Nintendo Bundle on multiplayer, whether there will be a “sequel” to Runbow, and more.
