Go! Go! Kokopolo 3D: Space Recipe for Disaster

Earlier today, Nintendo Life published an interview with Keith Webb (creator of Kokopolo), about Go! Go! Kokopolo 3D: Space Recipe for Disaster. The interview covers various topics, such as why the developers chose to go back to the Kokopolo IP on Nintendo 3DS, the extended development cycle, the game’s story, his thoughts on the Nintendo Switch, and a lot more.

Here’s an excerpt:

Actually, all characters play the same, and are available from the start, but each has a different “route” through the game, meaning each will travel through different stages as they progress. This allows the option that if a player gets stuck in a specific stage, they can switch to one of the other characters to advance through a different route, and return to the stage they had difficulty with at a later date. Each of the characters have slightly different, unique endings also.

In that interview, Keith Webb also reveals that the European version has already been submitted to Nintendo, andthat hopefully, an announcement will be made sometime next week. He also confirms that the game is indeed getting a Japanese release, and “pretty soon” to boot.

Ultimate Chicken Horse

Yesterday, Just Pause published an interview with Richard Atlas (CEO of Clever Endeavour), about Ultimate Chicken Horse. The interview covers various topics, such as why (and when) the team chose to port the game to the Nintendo Switch, if the game will make use of any of the console’s exclusive features, and more.

Here’s an excerpt:

The Switch has been an obvious choice for UCH (Ultimate Chicken Horse) since we started hearing rumors of it as the NX. Nintendo is traditionally quite closed about information and working with indies, but they’re doing a better job now and have pushed pretty hard for us to come out on Switch. Now that the information about the console is public, it’s easy to tell why the game is perfect for a party system like theirs.
