forma.8
Earlier today, Nintendo Life published an interview with Mauro Fanelli (from Mixed Bag Games), about the upcoming forma.8 (releasing next week in Europe and North America). It goes over how the game has changed since development started, how much of a Metroidvania forma.8 truly is, how important lore and story are, what motivated them to not cancel the Wii U version, and more. Click here to check it out!
forma.8 (Wii U – eShop) comes out on February 23rd in Europe and North America. The New Nintendo 3DS version will follow at a later date.
Hive Jump
Earlier today, Graphie Lab shared the latest Kickstarter update for Hive Jump, and explained they were working hard on the Wii U version of the game, in order to release it before the end of Q1.
They also gave us a sneak peek at the mini-map (displayed on the Wii U GamePad), though unfortunately, due to some “bureaucratic reasons”, they could only show a rendering:
The mini-map displays the following: the insignias of your teammates, the layout of the level geometry, the location of doors and hazards, and more.
Hive Jump (Wii U – eShop) will be released before the end of Q1 in Europe and North America.

Runner3
A few days ago, Choice Provisions launched a special contest for Runner3, where fans were tasked with coming up with names of food for Foodland. And on Tuesday, they revealed the results:
- Bouncy jello – Chris Trenary (a few people suggested this, but Chris was the first!)
- Hotdog cattails! – MikesJam
- Tapioca, Coxinha and Brigadeiro! – Joemir Franco
- Blue Cheese! – flyp_J
- Mac & cheese in an ice cream cone with Sriracha! – Ganny (this name sounds familiar…)
All those foods will make it into the game. The developers also point out that all the submissions were “amazing”… some so amazing, they were already in the game!
