Inazuma Walker Vol. 07 – Inazuma Eleven: Outer Code Episode 6, livestream recap

Today, Level-5 livestreamed the latest episode of Inazuma Walker, its webshow entirely dedicated to the Inazuma Eleven series (and more precisely Inazuma Eleven Ares). This time around, the theme of the episode was “つんつん祭り” (”Tsuntsun Matsuri”, lit. “Tsuntsun Festival”).

Since we know that’s what you came here looking for, here’s Inazuma Eleven: Outer Code Episode 6!

And here’s the full recording of the Inazuma Walker Vol. 07 episode:

Next, on to the recap of the livestream. It began with the two hosts thanking players for making Inazuma Eleven Everyday!!+ a success: it was ranked #1 on the AppStore and Google Play Store.

Quite interestingly, the first corner was the usual anime commentary. For this one, the two hosts were joined by a special guest: Hirofumi Nojima (Suuya Gouenji / Axel Blaze’s voice actor). The episode they commented was the very first of the Inazuma Eleven GO series: “Raimon’s New Wind Blowing”.

The second segment was a brand new one, where various actors come in order to read famous lines from the series. For this first one, it’s Hirofumi Nojima (Suuya Gouenji / Axel Blaze’s voice actor) who read a few lines, which is no surprise since he already was there for the first segment.

The lines he read were from…

1) Inazuma Eleven GO Episode 1
2) Inazuma Eleven GO Episode 24
3) Inazuma Eleven Episode 17
4) Inazuma Eleven Episode 59
5) Inazuma Eleven Episode 52
6) Inazuma Eleven Drama CD
7) Inazuma Eleven Episode 28

For the next episode, fans can vote for the lines to be read during that same segment (which is going to be a recurring one). If you can read and write Japanese, you can submit your answer on this page!

The third segment was the usual one where fans share memories of the Inazuma Eleven series. In this one, fans had to write about the things they would like to do in Inazuma Eleven. Here’s the various answer discussed:

  • play soccer (obviously)
  • be a manager
  • straighten out the haircut of all the characters. They showed some examples of what character would look like with such hairdos:
  • mix the two hosts with Baku (Yo-kai Watch) and Clark Wonderbot (Inazuma Eleven GO):
  • revisit certain scenes

The theme for the next episode is… “The Ultra Dimension Near You!”. Basically, extraordinary things or people that have happened or can be found near you.

The 4th segment is the one where fans get to vote on something to be implemented in Inazuma Eleven Ares. This time, it’s the Jersey of Kidokawa Seishu they had to vote for. It’s Design #4 that won!

Results are as follows:

  1. 19.3%
  2. 8.5%
  3. 10.5%
  4. 61.6%

The 5th segment was the usual episode of Inazuma Eleven: Outer Code. You can find it at the top of this post! The three key points are…

  1. ??? [to be added asap]
  2. The trio’s new haircuts
  1. Atsushi, the rather excentric hair stylist

Next, we got some major announcements regarding Inazuma Eleven Ares, but unfortunately, it’s most likely not the kind of news you were hoping for… First of all, it’s been announced that the Inazuma Eleven Ares anime series will now debut in Spring 2018, instead of October 2017, so that the various parties involve can focus on quality and offer the best anime series possible.

Also, the special Inazuma Eleven event that was supposed to take place in September is now taking place in January 2018 instead, with more details to be announced at a later date.

Finally, there will be a special episode of Inazuma Walker on October 21st (8PM JST), with not one but three special guests:

  • Ayumu Murase (Inamori Asuto’s voice actor, one of the protagonist of Inazuma Eleven Ares)
  • Junko Takeuchi (Endou Mamoru’s voice actress)
  • Yuka Terasaki (Matsukaze Tenma’s voice actress)

But more importantly, this Inazuma Walker SP will have the new episode 27 (that was announced in previous episode), supposed to be bridge the gap between the original Inazuma Eleven series and Inazuma Eleven Ares…. and that’s not all! The very first episode of the Inazuma Eleven Ares anime will also be shown!

And… yup, that’s not all, there’s still more. Starting with that special episode, there will be a Game Corner, with details about the Inazuma Eleven Ares game.

So you have it… this will be a pretty important episode, and one you should definitely not miss!
