Today, Level-5 streamed the very first episode of Inazuma Walker, its webshow dedicated to the Inazuma Eleven series. In this one, a few new details about Inazuma Eleven Ares was revealed. It was once again confirmed that the series would get a new anime series next year (broadcast on TV, but also on the internet), but also a manga, and more.

Two new characters were also revealed:

  • Ootani Tsukushi (Aurelia), a female character who appeared in Inazuma Eleven 2. She will also appear in the anime series.
  • Kira Hiroto (Xavier Schiller): another character from Inazuma Eleven 2, and the son of Keiji Hiroto. He was only mentioned in the game, because he died 10 years before the events of the game when studying football/soccer abroad. The cause of his death was never revealed, due to the son of a government official being involved.

Then, they revealed that Iwato Takashi, one of the new characters introduced in Inazuma Eleven Ares (and one of the protagonist’s partners) could use a technique called “The Wall”.

After that, they watched the very first episode of the original Inazuma Eleven anime series, while commenting it. Then, they read some messages from fans, who were asked to write about their memories of the series.

During the next segment, they let fans decide which hairstyle a returning character would have in Inazuma Eleven Ares. That character is Fudou Akio (Caleb Stonewall), and in the end, fans chose the first hairstyle. In other words, nothing will change, and he will keep his original hairstyle!

During the livestream, a character contest was announced. Fans can submit their own designs before November 18th.

Here’s what your submission has to include (Japanese-only):

Next, Level-5 made an announcement regarding the Inazuma Eleven Ares anime series. It was revealed that a special episode would air before the start of that new anime series. This episode is called “Another Episode 27”, and it’s exactly what the title implies: another version of Episode 27.

It was previously confirmed that Inazuma Eleven Ares took place in an alternate storyline, with no invasion from aliens. Basically, this episode will serve as a bridge between the original storyline and the new one, and will most likely explain the events that lead to Inazuma Eleven Ares.

But why Episode 27? Fans of the series most likely aren’t asking themselves that question, because they already know that it’s in Episode 27 of the original Inazuma Eleven anime series that the aliens invade. Therefore, it makes sense to have an alternate version of that particular episode for Inazuma Eleven Ares.

Right now, it’s not clear when the episode will air/streamed, or where (on TV? On the internet?), but more details will be revealed at a later date.

But that’s not all… Level-5 also announced Inazuma Eleven Outer Code: a series of anime shorts (about 5mn), that will be streamed during each upcoming episode of Inazuma Eleven Walker. The keyword for the very first one is… “Fubuki Brothers”.

Wondering when the next episode of Inazuma Walker will be streamed? On November 4th, at the same time:

  • Europe: 1PM
  • UK: 12PM
  • North America (EST): 7AM
  • North America (PST): 4AM
  • Japan: 9PM

Finally, they showed the ending of the Inazuma Walker webshow: “Moetekitaze” by pugcat’s.
