Hyrule Warriors (Legends): updates now available, official patchnotes + file size

Today, new DLC for Hyrule Warriors and Hyrule Warriors Legends is releasing: you can check out this post for all the details (including the pricing), screenshots, and two trailers! But as usual, you need to download an update for each game before being able to enjoy this additional content. In this post, you will find the official patchnotes and file size for both.

Hyrule Warriors (Wii U)

The update brings the game to Ver. 1.12.0, with the following changes:

• Adds ability to access the content in the A Link Between Worlds Pack
• Introduces additional enhancements to improve the user’s experience and enjoyment

This update requires 139MB of free space on your Wii U or external HDD. To download it, you have two options:

• let the Wii U do its thing if you have automatic downloaded activated. You should have the latest version installed the next time you launch the game;
• if not, you can launch Hyrule Warriors from the Home Menu (not the Quick Start Menu), in order to trigger the download manually.

To check that you have the latest version, simply launch the game: you should see Ver. 1.12.0 just below the game’s logo:

Hyrule Warriors Legends (Nintendo 3DS)

The update brings the game to Ver. 1.6.0, with the following changes:

• Adds ability to access the content in the A Link Between Worlds Pack
• Adds new fairy in My Fairy mode
• Adds new Rental Skills
• Adds new medals
• Adds new weapon skills
• Increases the maximum level to 255
• Introduces additional enhancements to improve the user’s experience and enjoyment

This update requires 1 596 blocks / 199.5MB of free space on your SD Card. To download it, you have three options:

• select Hyrule Warriors Legends from the Home Menu, while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: just follow the instructions on screen;
• you can search for Hyrule Warriors Legends on the Nintendo eShop;
• you can use the option in the Nintendo eShop settings.

To check that you have the latest version, simply launch the game: you should see Ver. 1.6.0 just below the game’s logo:
