Happy Birthdays: demo releasing next week in Japan, pre-purchase now live

Arc System Works has announced that Happy Birthdays would get a demo on March 22nd in Japan. It will let players choose between 4 different stages: rocky planet, greenery planet, fire planet, and freezing planet. You can go up to 1.5 million years of in-game time, and whether or not you can witness the birth of manking is entirely up to you!

Also, Arc System Works specifies that players will be able to transfer their save data to the full game if they want to, but it does not look like there will be any bonuses for doing so.

By the way, if you really cannot wait for the western release of Happy Birthdays, you will be glad to learn that the Japanese version already includes several languages besides Japanese: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Korean, and Chinese. It’s not clear whether the demo also has those languages, but it’s quite likely that it does!

And if you cannot even wait for your imported copy to arrive at your place, you can now pre-purchase the Japanese version of game from the Nintendo eShop. It requires only 1.5GB of free space, and will unlock at 12AM JST on March 29th.

Finally, here’s some more screenshots:

Happy Birthdays (Switch) comes out on March 29th in Japan, June 5th in North America, and June 8th in Europe.
