NB: you can only play via your smart device (it will not work on a desktop or laptop browser, though you can always change the user agent if you know how to do that!).

This Quick Hero Battle mini-game will be live until:

  • Europe: 4.59AM on September 8th
  • UK: 3.59AM on September 8th
  • North America (EDT): 10.59PM on September 7th
  • North America (PDT): 7.59PM on September 7th
  • Japan: 11.59AM on September 8th

The Quick Hero Battle mini-game is based on Fire Emblem Heroes, and makes use of the famous weapon triangle (Red > Green > Blue > Red, etc.). It’s all pretty simple: an enemy appears on the screen, and you have to defeat it within the time limit. To defeat enemies, you need to use a character that has an advantage. For colorless enemies, you need to use colorless units.

Defeating enemies allows you to earn credits, and if you defeat several of them in a row, you get a combo bonus. You also get an extra bonus if you use units that have an advantage, such as Bow users on Flying units (on top of any normal combo bonuses)!

If you link your Nintendo Account, you can not only earn additional bonuses, but also unlock additional features:

  • only Normal difficulty is available to regular users, but Nintendo Account users can also choose Hard and Lunatic;
  • top-ranking characters from the Choose Your Legends event will appear as enemy characters;
  • you can see a collection of Heroes you’ve defeated via your personal page. When the event is over, you will geta bonus minicharacter wallpaper featuring all the Heroes you defeated;
  • you get 2 extra seconds of play time every day you play;
  • you get 200 Platinum Coins (to be distributed in mid-September; you will get an email notification)

The difficulty level affects the amount of time you have to choose a unit before the enemy attacks:

  • Normal: 3 seconds
  • Hard: 2 seconds
  • Lunatic: 1 second

You can keep playing until the total time limit reaches 0: when it does, the result screen is displayed, showing the number of points you earned (based on the number of enemies defeated, and your combos). You can only play twice a day, but if you use the “Tweet and Try Again” button, you can remove that play limit.

If you reach a certain score, you can get access to a page where you can download wallpapers featuring Choose your Legends Heroes. There’s four different wallpapers to collect, with the selection changing every two days.

But more important that wallpapers is the overall point total bonus. Basically, if the combined score of all players reach a certain threshold, everyone will get bonus Orbs and Hero Feathers in Fire Emblem Heroes.

Here’s the current tiers:

  • 500 000 000 to 999 999 999 points = 2 Orbs, 500 Hero Feathers
  • 1 000 000 000 to 1 499 999 999 points = 5 Orbs, 2 000 Hero Feathers
  • 1 500 000 000 and over = 10 Orbs, 5 000 Hero Feathers

If players manage to reach a tier, then new rewards tiers will replace it. In other words, players could get more than 10 Orbs and 5 000 Hero Feathers, if they get a lot of points! The rewards will be available in-game as special Log-in Bonus in mid-September. Naturally, we will make sure to let you know via the Events and Content Updates page!
