Fire Emblem Heroes: latest events and content updates (November 2017)
On February 2nd 2017, Nintendo launched Fire Emblem Heroes on Android and iOS (click here to check out everything you need to know about it). Just like all Free 2 Play games worth their salt, Nintendo is planning to provide users with regular content, events, and updates, in order to make sure they keep playing as long as possible.
In this post, we’re going to list all the events and content updates for Fire Emblem Heroes in November 2017, so that you can find all those details in one place. For the most recent updates, make sure to check out this post instead!
This month’s updates
November 1st
- [Quests] A new set of Special Quests is now available: “Armored Mastery”. Clearing them allows you to earn Orbs, Universal Shards, and Universal Crystals (available until November 15th)
- [Quests] Not one, but three new sets of Monthly Quests are now available for November (available until December 1st)
November 2nd
- [Summoning Focus] A new Summoning Focus is now available: “Short-Haired Ladies”. It features the following Heroes: Katarina, Shanna, Hinoka, and Amelia. Characters added to this page! (available until November 12th)
- [Summoning Focus] A new Summoning Focus is now available: “Long-Haired Gents”. It features the following Heroes: Karel, Ryoma, Soren, and Takumi. Characters added to this page! (available until November 12th)
November 3rd
- [Maps] The Bound Hero Battle featuring Alm and Celica is back, and can be tackled on Hard, Lunatic, and Infernal (available until November 9th)
- [Quests] A new set of Special Quests is now available: “Bound Hero Battle”. It allows you to get some bonus Orbs. (available until November 9th)
November 6th
- [Event] The 8th Voting Gauntlet event, “Short-Haired Ladies vs Long-Haired Gents”, starts on November 6th. Check out this post for everything you need to know! (available until November 12th)
- [Event] Round 1 of the 8th Voting Gauntlet event, “Short-Haired Ladies vs Long-Haired Gents”, is now live. Check out this post for everything you need to know! (available until November 8th)
- [Quests] A first set of Special Quests tied to the 8th Voting Gauntlet event is now live. You can clear the quests to get some extra Orbs, Sacred Coins, and Battle Flags (available until November 8th)
- [Log-in Bonus] During the latest Voting Gauntlet, all players can get 5 Battle Flags every day (available until November 12th)
November 7th
- [Log-in Bonus] The Fall Log-in Bonus is now available, allowing players to get some Orbs every day, with the amount varying for each day: 1, 1, 1, 1, 2, 1, 1, 1, 1, 3 (so 13 in total) (available until November 21st)
November 8th
- [Event] Round 2 of the Short-Haired Ladies vs Long-Haired Gents Voting Gauntlet is now live. Check out this post for everything you need to know! (available until November 10th)
- [Quests] A second set of Special Quests tied to the 8th Voting Gauntlet event is now live. You can clear the quests to get some extra Orbs, Sacred Coins, and Battle Flags (available until November 10th)
- [Summoning Focus] A new Summoning Focus is now available: “Heroes with Death Blow”. It includes the following Heroes: Elincia, Delthea, and Klein”. Those characters have been added to this page (available until November 23rd)
November 9th
- [Maps] The bound Hero Battle featuring Cecilia and Lilina is back. Like last time, it’s available in 3 difficulty levels: Hard, Lunatic, and Infernal, and you can get 2 Orbs for each one (so 6 Orbs in total) (available until November 16th)
- [Quests] A new set of Special Quests is now available: Bound Hero Battle. It allows you to get some extra Orbs (available until November 16th)
November 10th
- [Event] The Final Round of the Short-Haired Ladies vs Long-Haired Gents Voting Gauntlet is now live. Check out this post for everything you need to know! (available until November 12th)
- [Quests] A third and final set of Special Quests tied to the 8th Voting Gauntlet event is now live. You can clear the quests to get some extra Orbs, Sacred Coins, and Battle Flags (available until November 12th)
November 12th
- [Event] The Sacred Seal Forge Support Event is now live. Check out this post for more details, and the Top 10 of the most popular Sacred Seals! (available until November 27th)
- [Maps] A set of 5 Special Maps is now available, playable in 3 difficulty levels and with different rewards: Normal (10 Sacred Coins), Hard (10 Sacred Coins), Lunatic (1 Orb) (available until November 27th)
- [Quests] A set of 19 Special Quests is now available, allowing you to get Sacred Coins, Great Badges, Orbs, and more (available until November 27th)
- [Log-in Bonus] A new Log-in Bonus is now available: “Sacred Seal Forge Log-in Bonus”. Here’s what you can get: 10 Sacred Coins, 20 Great Scarlet Badges, 10 Sacred Coins, 20 Great Azure Badges, 10 Sacred Coins, 10 Sacred Coins, 20 Great Verdant Badges, 10 Sacred Coins, 20 Great Transparent Badges, 10 Sacred Coins (available until November 27th)
November 15th

- [Story Maps] A new Paralogue Story is now available: “Farfetched Heroes”. It includes the following maps: Sword and Sorcery, The Dorcas Gambit, and Offbeat Heroes (no end date)
- [Quests] A new set of Special Quests is now available: “Farfetched Heroes”. It allows you to get some bonus Orbs (available until December 4th)
- [Log-in Bonus] To celebrate the latest Summoning Focus, a new set of Log-in Bonuses is now live: “New Heroes Celebration Bonus”. It allows players to get some Orbs every day, with the amount varying for each day: 1, 1, 1, 1, 2, 1, 1, 1, 1, 3 (so 13 in total) (available until November 27th)
November 16th
- [Summoning Focus] A new Summoning Focus is now available: Takumi and Hinoka’s Battle. It includes the following characters: Hinoka, Takumi, and Sakura. The Characters Page has been updated (available until November 24th)
- [Maps] A new Bound Hero Battle is now available, and it features Takumi and Hinoka. You can clear the map on Hard, Lunatic, and Infernal, to get Orbs (available until November 24th)
November 18th
- [Summoning Focus] A new Summoning Focus is now available: “Tempest Trials”. It includes the following characters: Roy (Brave Lion), Lucina (Brave Princess), Ike (Brave Mercenary), and Lyn (Brave Lady) (available until December 5th)
November 21st
- [Event] The 6th Tempest Trial event is now live, and it’s called “Less Than Heroic”. You can find all you need to know about it in this post! Joshua (from Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones) is available as reward. The list of characters has already been updated (available until December 5th)
- [Quests] A new set of Daily Special Quests is now available: Tempest Trials. It allows you to get goodies every day (available until November 28th)
- [Log-in Bonus] To celebrate the latest Tempest Trials event, a new Log-in Bonus is now available. It allows players to get some Orbs every day, with the amount varying for each day: 1, 1, 1, 1, 2, 1, 1, 1, 1, 3 (so 13 in total) (available until December 12th)
- [Arena] The latest set of Bonus Heroes is now available, and features the following characters: Dorcas, Lute, Mia, Ursula, Kagero, Henry, Serra, Subaki, Wrys, Alfonse (available until December 5th?)
November 22nd
- [Manga] Chapter 2 of the official Fire Emblem Heroes manga is now available! Click here to check it out (Japanese-only)
November 23rd
- [Summoning Focus] A new Summoning Focus is now available: “Heroes with Powerful Specials”. It includes the following Heroes: Karel, Nephenee, and Sonya. The characters page has been updated! (available until December 7th)
November 24th
- [Hero Battles] The Grand Hero Battle feat. Michalis is back. You can clear it on Hard to get a 3 ★ version of that character, on Lunatic for a 4 ★ version, and on Infernal for 4 ★ version and some Hero Feathers. Character has been added to this page (available until December 15th)
- [Quests] A new set of Special Quests is now available: “Grand Hero Battles”. It allows you to get some bonus Orbs, and a 3 ★ version of Michalis. The characters page has been updated! (available until December 15th)
November 26th
- [Quests] A new set of Special Quests is now available: “Quests with Alfonse”. You can clear them with Alfonse, in order to get some bonus Orbs, Hero Feathers, Sacred Coins, and more (available until December 10th)
November 28th
- [Update] On November 27th/28th (depending on your timezone), Fire Emblem Heroes got a major update (Ver. 2.0.0). You can find some details in this post, with even more to be found in this one. The official patch notes can be found on this page.
- [Summoning Focus] A new Summoning Focus is now available: Legendary Hero – Fjorm: Ice Princess. It includes no less than 11 Heroes, including Fjorm. More details can be found in this post, and on this page (available until December 4th)
- [Hero] Legendary Hero – Fjorm: Princess of Ice. You can get a 5 ★ version of that character by clearing Chapter 1 of Book II (available until December 4th)
- [Event] The Double EXP & SP Event is now live, and allows you to earn x2 the usual amount of EXP and SP (available until December 5th)
- [Log-in Bonus] To celebrate the start of Book II, a new Log-in Bonus is now available: “Book II Begins”. It allows players to get some Orbs every day, with the amount staying the same for each day: 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2 (so 20 in total) (available until December 13th)
- [Quests] A new set of Special Quests is now available: “Weapon Refinery Quests”. They allow you to get Refining Stones, Arena Medals, and more (available until January 15th)
- [Quests] The second set of Daily Special Quests for the latest Tempest Trials is now live. It allows you to get double the rewards of the first set, but also adds a little extra (available until December 5th)
- [Quests] A new set of Special Quests is now available: “Princess of Ice”. It allows you to get some bonus Orbs (available until December 18th)
- [Quests] A new set of Special Quests is now available: “The Flame”. It allows you to get some bonus Orbs (available until December 18th)
- [Elements] The Elements for the current season are: Water, Earth (available until December 5th)
- [Maps] A new Squad Assault is now available: “5th Assault”. Clearing it allows you to get the Squad Ace E Sacred Seal, and 2 Orbs (no end date)
- [Maps] Book II is now available in Story Maps, with Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 already available (tap on the arrow above the mission list to switch between Book I and II) (no end date)
- [Arena] New rewards are available for the Arena and Arena Assault. Check out below for more details! (no end date)
November 30th
- [Quests] A new set of Special Quests is now available: “Arena and Arena Assault” (several difficulty levels available). It allows you to get various goodies (available until December 14th)
- [Notice] The developers shared a notice regarding inacurrate skill descriptions in the Weapon Refinery. Apology gift coming soon via Log-in Bonus. Check out this post for more details!
- [Wallpaper] The latest (and last) wallpapers / calendars from the Choose Your Legends event is now available!
