Fire Emblem Heroes – A Hero Rises– What is it?

A Hero Rises is a special event for Fire Emblem Heroes, where fans can vote for their favourite characters across the entire Fire Emblem series. But unlike the Choose Your Legends event, this one only allows you to vote for characters that have appeared in Fire Emblem Heroes.

Basically, it’s some sort of global popularity contest, where the most popular character get distributed to all players as a 5 ★ Hero, for free. That’s right: there will be no need to try your luck with a Summoning Focus, everyone will automatically get it simply by completing the Xenologue 3: The People’s Hero map.

Unfortunately, it does not look like there will be anything special about that Hero (it will be the exact same Hero as the original unit, though it could very well be the Special variant of one!).

Fire Emblem Heroes – A Hero Rises – How does it work?

There will be two Rounds of voting:

  • the first one will determine the Top 4 Heroes, who will get to move to the second and final Round
  • the second and final Round, which will determine the overall winner

Do note that you can only vote for Heroes that can be part of your team as of January 31st with the exception of Anna, Alfonse, and Sharena. Unfortunately, Veronica, Bruno, Surtr, Laevatein, and Loki are among the characters you cannot vote for, since they’re not available as regular Heroes (yet?).

You can vote for 1 Hero a day, during each of the day voting takes place (Round 1 and Round 2, so a total of 15 times), with a new day starting at the same time as the event itself (check out the time below). For Round 1, you first need to choose a colour, and then a Hero from it. For Round 2, you simply have to choose among the 4 Heroes that made it to the finals!

Every time you vote, you get an exclusive wallpaper based on that Hero (though only once if you vote for it several times).
