Fire Emblem Heroes: second trailer introduces the characters, preliminary results for the character votes

On February 2nd, Fire Emblem Heroes will be released on iOS and Android. It will be the very first Fire Emblem game on smart devices, and will feature a mix of new and returning characters. They all have their own voice lines and illustrations, and for returning characters, those are completely brand new (so recycled art or voice lines).

And today, Nintendo uploaded a new trailer for the game, that introduces the various characters, but also their voice actors and the artist who drew their illustrations.

Here’s the characters showcased in the trailer below:

  • Ryoma, the Peerless Samurai. Voiced by Matt Mercer. Artist: Kita Senri;
  • Tharja, the Dark Shadow. Voiced by Stephanie Sheh. Artist: ZIS;
  • Frederick, the Polite Knight. Voiced by Kyle Hebert. Artist: Suekane Kumiko;
  • Nino, the Pious Mage. Voiced by Sarah Blandy. Artist: Amagaitaro;
  • Azura, the Lady of the Lake. Voiced by Rena Strober. Artist: kaya8;
  • Linde, the Light mage. Voiced by Julie Ann Taylor. Artist: Kippu;
  • Jeorge, the Perfect Shot. Voiced by Mick Wingert. Artist: Mayo,
  • Elise, the Buding Flower. Voiced by Live Strander. Artist: HAKO;
  • Lilina, the Delightful Noble. Voiced by Julie Kliewer. Artist: BUNBUN;

On the official Twitter account, in Japan, the developers have also been sharing character profiles. The details are the same as those found on the official website, but we do get the name of the voice actor/actress for each character:

  • Alfonse: voiced by Tatsuhisa Suzuki
  • Sharena: voiced by Maaya Uchida
  • Anna: voiced by Saori Seto

Finally, that same account has revealed preliminary results for the Chose Your Heroes event votes. Here’s the Top 3 most popular characters, as of January 23rd:

  1. Lyn (Fire Emblem)
  2. Lucina (Fire Emblem Awakening)
  3. Ike (Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance)
