Iro Hero

Today, eastasiasoft and Artax Games announced that Iro Hero, the retro-inspired vertical-scrolling shmup, will be released on June 7th worldwide. Pre-orders will go live today on the Nintendo eShop, and the game will cost $12.99 / 12.99€ / £11.69 / ¥1480.

Shovel Knight: King of Cards

Yesterday, Yacht Club Games announced that development of Shovel Knight: King of Cards had reached the “alpha stage”. In other words, “the game is playable from start to finish with most every major feature working in game. Levels will change, script will change, additional polish and iteration will happen”.

If you’re wondering why this final expansion is taking so long, it’s because it’s quite massive: all new levels, card battels, multiple worlds… this definitely just isn’t a mere level pack! The developers still don’t know when it will be released, but it should be sometime in the second half of 2018.

By the way, players are not the only one to be pretty excited about this DLC… Jake Kaufman (the composer) also cannot wait for it, as you can see for yourself:
