Dragon Quest XI: second batch of direct-feed screenshots

Back in August 2015, Square-Enix shared the very first batch of direct-feed screenshots for Dragon Quest XI: Sugisarishi Toki o Motomete, which was revealed a couple of weeks before. And in the end, we had to wait 16 months before getting the second batch, though fortunately, there are a lot more screens than in the first one.

Unfortunately, the screenshots don’t show anything really new that wasn’t showcased during the Dragon Quest XI: Sugisarishi Toki o Motomete stage presentation at Jump Festa 2017, or in the V-Jump article that leaked last week.

The screenshots show the protagonist and Ishi, his home village (which is said to be quite peaceful), but also Ema (one of the protagonist’s friends), Kamyu (a thief, who acts as a guide).

Here’s the screenshots from the Nintendo 3DS version of Dragon Quest XI: Sugisarishi Toki o Motomete:

And for those interested, here’s the screenshots from the PlayStation 4 version:

NB: Nintendo has confirmed that Dragon Quest XI: Sugisarishi Toki o Motomete would indeed be released on the Nintendo Switch, but we still don’t know which version it’s going to get.

Therefore, we will keep posting any PlayStation 4 screenshots we come across, if and until we get the confirmation that this is not the version the Nintendo Switch will get. Fortunately, we should be settled in just a couple of weeks!  Hopefully, whichever version ends up on the Nintendo Switch, Square-Enix will share dedicated screenshots for it!

Dragon Quest XI: Sugisarishi Toki o Motomete (3DS, Switch) will be released next year in Japan.
