Dragon Ball Fusions: new fusion revealed, Metamo Ring details

Dragon Ball FusionsAs weeks go by, Bandai-Namco keeps on revealing new details about Dragon Ball Fusions regularly, generally in Jump and V-Jump magazine. This time, it’s in V-Jump that the latest batch of details was found. The magazine reveals a brand new fusion: Pandel (Pan + Videl… daughter and mother, definitely one of the most “impossible” fusions of the game!).

As mentioned in a previous report, there are two types of fusions in the game:

  • fusions between compatible characters. Those are the standard fusions that fans of the series know pretty well, which require a special dance. The resulting characters wear the traditional clothes of the Metamorans;
  • EX Fusions, which are introduced in Dragon Ball Fusions. They require a special armband, called Metamo Ring, which was created by Bulma. Characters wearing it can fuse with pretty much anybody, even with someone they’re not compatible with.

And thanks to that “Metamo Ring”, players will be able to perform a “Maxi Fusion”, with no less than 5 characters at once. But in order to do that, you first need to fill up the “Maxi Gauge”.

Here’s some scans from V-Jump magazine:

Dragon Ball Fusions (3DS) comes out this year in Japan. We don’t know if Bandai-Namco plans to release it in Europe and North America.
