Earlier today, Nicalis revealed a brand new characters for Blade Strangers: Gunvolt, from the Azure Striker Gunvolt series (and more precisely Azure Striker Gunvolt 2):

Rocket League

Yesterday, Psyonix announced another Double Drop-Rate Weekend for Rocket League. For a limited time, all uncommon or higher gree customisation items and active Creates will drop more frequently after Online matches (no matter the type). Also, your chances of earning a Painted version of an item (via a drop, a Create, or the Trade-In system) will be doubled.

Here’s when this Double Drop-Rate Weekend takes place:

  • Europe: May 11th (2AM) to May 14th (7PM)
  • UK: May 11th (1AM) to May 14th (6PM)
  • North America (ET): May 10th (8PM) to May 14th (1PM)
  • North America (PT): May 10th (5PM) to May 14th (10AM)
  • Japan: May 11th (9AM) to May 15th (2AM)

The latest issue of Famitsu magazine comes out on Thursday in Japan (effectively Wednesday morning/afternoon in North America and Europe respectively).

Portal Knights

Yesterday, a demo version for Portal Knights was released on the Nintendo eShop. This demo version allows players to get a taste of what the game has to offer, and also offers a sneak peek at the upcoming “Adventurer Update”. That update will provide new characters, quests, items, and various improvements to the gameplay experience.

In this demo, you can play as Warrior, Mage, or Ranger. You can level up your character, gather resources, craft weapons and armour, cast spells, battle monsters, and more. You can also explore one of the expansive islands found in the full game. If you ant, you can have a friend join you in local multiplayer: up to 4 players can connect via lcal wireless to battle, mine, build, craft, explore dungeons, and more.

Waku Waku Doubutsu Land

Nippon Columbia has announced a new game for the Nintendo Switch: Waku Waku Doubutsu Land (literally Exciting Animal Land), an animal-themed party game. It will be released on July 26th in Japan, and will cost 4 800 Yen. Quite surprisingly, it will also be playable in English, Korean and Chinese, alongside Japanese.
