Yo-kai Watch 2
In less than a month, Yo-kai Watch 2: Bony Spirits / Fleshy Souls will be released in Europe. If you want to try out the game, you can download a demo from the Nintendo eShop, and even get a Hovernyan Theme for your Nintendo 3DS if you do so before April 7th (make sure you redeem the download code before April 30th, though).

MariCar
A few days ago, we learned that Nintendo was suing MariCar (a company that offers “real-life Mario Kart” tours, complete with costumes of Mario characters). And this week, it was found that Nintendo attempted to have the MariCar trademark revoked earlier this year (in January), but the procedure was dismissed by the Japan Patent Office.
Nintendo argued that the MariCar trademark was intended to be mistaken for or confused with Nintendo’s own Mario Kart series. But the patent office ruled that MariCar was not widely as an abbreviation of Mario Kart, and adding that it was an unassociated trademark.
It looks like Nintendo decided to sue MariCar for copyright infrigement after that procedure with the Japan ended in failure.
