Blaster Master Zero: new update (Ver. 1.4.0) and sales milestone

Today, Inti Creates made a few announcements for Blaster Master Zero. First, a new sales milestone: as of October 5th, the game has been downloaded over 110 000 times worldwide (on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS presumably).

It looks like it’s selling pretty steadily, just like the first Azure Striker Gunvolt game. Unfortunately, we don’t know on which platform it sold the best, and we don’t have a regional breakdown of sales either.

To celebrate this new milestone, Inti Creates has shared yet another wallpaper for the game. You can find it in full size on the official website, as usual!

But more exciting than sales number is… a brand new update! It brings Blaster Master Zero to Ver. 1.4.0 on both platforms, and brings some pretty welcome new features.

Here’s the patchnotes for this new update:

  • Boss Blaster Mode added
  • Co-op Boss Blaster Mode added (Nintendo Switch-only)
  • Available number of save slots tripled (Nintendo Switch-only)
  • EX Characters can now use the “Call Sophia” ability

Here’s a trailer and some screenshots showcasing the new update:

As usual, you can find more details about updates for Blaster Master Zero over at its Software updates page!

And while we’re talking about Inti Creates, a new update for Azure Striker Gunvolt: Striker Pack on Nintendo Switch is now available. Check out this page for more details!
