[BitSummit 4th] Back in 1995 64 announced for the Nintendo 3DS

Back in 1995 is a described as a “throwback to the survival horror and mystery games of the original PlayStation”, and it was released on Steam earlier this year. Good news for Nintendo fans: a Nintendo 3DS version was announced today by the developer (Throw the warped code out). A prototype will be playable on Nintendo’s booth at the BitSummit 4th, this week-end.

The Nintendo 3DS version of the game is called Back in 1995 64, in reference to the Nintendo 64 (which wasn’t released until 1996!). One of the new features is a “Virtual Game Machine”, that you can operate on the bottom screen (connecting cables, inserting cartridges, etc.). Officially, the game is announced for the Nintendo 3DS, but it looks like the game might be a New Nintendo 3DS (XL) exclusive.
