Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 getting some DLC packs (returning bosses)
Today, Inti Creates held the Inti Creates Fan Festa 20th Anniversary, and during the stage presentation, several announcements were made. One of them is for the Azure Striker Gunvolt series, and more precisely Azure Striker Gunvolt 2. And it’s some good news for those who want more of this game: it’s actually getting some DLC packs!
The DLC packs will consist in special missions featuring a tough level and a returning boss from the first Azure Striker Gunvolt. The first pack will include:
- Merak “The Slothful Conjurer”
- Carrera “The Magnetic Avarice”
Inti Creates specified that all Sumeragi 7 bosses from Azure Striker Gunvolt would find their way in Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 via DLC, which means that the other 5 bosses will come after the first pack. When? We don’t know, as the only thing we’re sure of right now is that there will be several DLC packs.
Further details about those DLC packs, including their price and release date, will be announced at a later date. Right now, it’s not clear whether Europe and North America will get those DLC packs, but it would be surprising (and disappointing) if there was no release in those regions. Inti Creates has confirmed that Europe and North America would indeed get the DLC.
