IMPORTANT: if you want to take part in the second half of the Global Testpunch, you need to download the Software update released on Thursday. There’s no patchnotes for this update, but we do know it adds the new stage and modes mentioned below, but also Twintelle as a playable fighter. Once the update has been installed, you will no longer be able to get access to the Help section outside of the Global Testpunch sessions.

Here’s a video:

Nintendo specifies that only one mode will be playable in this demo: Party Match, but several game modes will be available (and selected randomly)

  • Fight (regular battles)
  • V-Ball
  • Hoops (added for the second half of the Global Testpunch)
  • Skillshot (added for the second half of the Global Testpunch)

You have the choice between 7 fighters:

  • Spring Man
  • Ribbon Girl
  • Mechanica
  • Min Min
  • Master Mummy
  • Ninjara
  • Helix
  • Twintelle (second half of the Global Testpunch)

Only four stages will be available:

  • Ninja College (Ninjara’s stage)
  • Bomb Gym (Spring Man’s stage)
  • ARMS Labs (Helix’s stage)
  • Ramen Bowl (Min Min’s stage) [added for the second half of the Global Testpunch]

You can play with up to 2 players on the same system. For details about controls (which are the same as in the final version), click here!
