Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp – All the Events and Content updates (February 2018)
Since Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp is a smartphone game, with micro-transactions as business model, it’s going to get various events and content updates on a regular basis. Just like Fire Emblem Heroes (and to a lesser extent, Miitomo), the goal is to make sure players keep playing… and spending, obviously.
On this page, we have list all the events and content updates for Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp in February 2018. This post is only for the updates during that month, with the older ones going into archives posts, that can be found at the bottom of this page.
Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp – Previous updates
February 1st
- [Event] The latest event is Lottie’s Gothic Rose Festival, and you can find all there is to know about it in this post (available until February 10th)!
- [Goals] A new set of Timed Goals, and more precisely Event Challenges, is now live. They’re tied to Lottie’s Gothic Rose Festival (available until February 10th);
- [Store] During Lottie’s Gothic Rose Festival, two Gothic Roses Packs can be purchased from the store (available until February 10th):
- Gothic Rose Pack (S): Leaf Ticket x100, flower food x60;
- Gothic Rose Pack (L): Leaf Ticket x600, flower food x160.
February 5th
- [Log-in Bonus] Due to an issue impacting the Lottie’s Gothic Rose Festival event (with tasks from Lottie not always being displayed, on February 1st), all impacted players can get Leaf Ticket x20 as Log-in Bonus. The issue has since been fixed, but if you’re still encountering it, try reloading the app (available until March 5th)
February 6th
- [Event] The second half of the latest event, Lottie’s Gothic Rose Festival, is now live. You can find all there is to know about it in this post! (available until February 10th)
- [Log-in Bonus] To kickstart the second half of the Lottie’s Gothic Rose Festival, all players can get g. fusion rose seeds x20 as Log-in Bonus (available until February 10th)
February 7th
- [OK Motors] New custom paint jobs for your Camper are now available at OK Motors: desert mist (8 000 Bells), painter’s palette (8 000 Bells), and southwestern flair (150 Leaf Tickets) (no end date)
February 10th
- [Update] Today, it’s been revealed that the upcoming major Software update for Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp will add a mini game called “Brake Tapper”, and found at OK Motors. Unfortunately, that’s all we know about it for now!
- [Log-in Bonus] A new set of Daily Log-in Bonuses is now live, allowing players to get the following: Leaf Ticket x1, wood x3, honey x3, 1 000 Bells sporty essence x1, Request Ticket x1, steel x3, sea throw net x3, 1 000 Bells, and cute essence x1 (available until February 20th)
February 13th
- [Log-in Bonus] To celebrate Valentine’s Day, all players can get the following present as Log-in Bonus: valentine chocolate (available until March 13th)
February 13th – Second round
- [Goals] A new set Stretch Goals is now available, related to the new features from Ver. 1.2.0 (no end date)
- [Goals] A new set of Timed Goals, and more precisely “Trial Challenges”, related to the new Brake Tapper mini-game; is now available (available until February 22nd?)
February 14th
- [Log-in Bonus] To thank players for their patience during the long maintenance period preceding the release of the second major Software update for the game, Nintendo is going to send a special Log-in Bonus on February 14th: Leaf Ticket x20 (available until May 14th) [not available yet despite being announced for February 14th]
- [Goals] A new set of Timed Goals, and more precisely “Trial Challenges”, related to the new Animals outfits feature; is now available (available until February 22nd?)
February 15th
- [Log-in Bonus] To thank players for their patience during the long maintenance period preceding the release of the second major Software update for the game, Nintendo is sending a special Log-in Bonus: Leaf Ticket x20 (available until March 15th)
- [Goals] A new set of Timed Goals is now available: “Host the Most”. Clearing those allow you to earn Leaf Tickets and Calling Cards (available until February 20th)
- [Animals] 5 new Animals have arrived: Dotty (board game piece), Octavian (flying saucer), Eugene (big amp), Fuchsia (pinball machine), Freya (organ). Animals page updated! (no end date)
February 16th
- [Event] The latest event is now live: “Crystal Collection Event”. You can find all there is to know about it in this post! (available until February 25th)
- [Goals] A new set of Timed Goals is now available: “Event Challenge”. Clearing those allow you to earn crystal shards to craft the time-limited items from the Crystal Collection Event (available until February 25th)
- [Store] A new pack is now available in the Store: the Crystal Craft Pack (Leaf Ticket x20, crystal shards x25). You can only purchase it once (available until February 25th)
February 17th
- The latest update for the game is Ver. 1.2.1, and it’s now available. Click here for more details about it! It fixes the issue preventing some users from launching the game (+ another bug): check out this post for additional details.
February 18th
- [Log-in Bonus] A new set of Daily Log-in Bonuses is now live, allowing players to get the following: Leaf Ticket x1, cotton x3, fertilizer x3, 1 000 Bells cool essence x1, Calling Card x1, rustic essence x1, honey x3, preserves x3, and natural essence x1 (available until March 2nd)
- [Events] Today, Nintendo began teasing yet another event, this time Spring-related. We don’t know when it will go live, but it’s most likely going to be after the Crystal Collection one (so after February 25th)
February 21st
- [Update] Today, the long-awaited Camp Terrain Customisation feature finally went live: check out this post for all you need to know!
February 22nd
- [Update] The latest update for the game is Ver. 1.2.2, and it’s now available. Click here for more details about it!
February 23rd
- [Log-in Bonus] As an apology for the recent issues that impacted the game, the following will be available as Log-in Bonus from February 23rd: Leaf Ticket x20 and crystal shards x30 (available until March 23rd)
- [Update] Early details about the next update(s) for Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp have been revealed, with a new event (Fishing Tourney) and new features (fish and bug record, easier gardening) coming soon. Check out this post for more details!
February 26th
- [Event] The next event, which is Spring-related, starts tomorrow (on February 27th). More details coming soon!
February 27th
- [Event] The latest event, Leif’s Spring Flowers, is now live! Check out this post for more details! (available until March 9th)
- [Store] Two new special packs are available for purchase until March 9th (only one per player):
- Spring Flowers Garden Pack (S): Leaf Ticket x 100 (80 + 20 bonus), flower food x60
- Spring Flowers Garden Pack (L): Leaf Ticket x 600 (417 + 183 bonus), flower food 160
- [Goals] A new set of Timed Goals is now available: “Event Challenge”. You can clear those to get various goodies (available until March 9th)
February 28th
- [Animals] A new Animal is now available: Celeste! But in order for her to show up in your campsite (from time to time), you first need to craft the Celeste’s Telescope item, and then place it on your campsite. It’s available from the “Special – Available for a Limited Time” section of the Caft menu. You need Leaf Ticket x350 to craft the telescope. NB: Celeste is a Special Animal, and even if you have multiple special furniture, only one of them can visit at a given time… Celeste and Tom Nook will not be able to meet, for example! Animals page updated. (available until April 29th)
