Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp – Crystal Collection Event now live

Earlier this week, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp received its second major Software update, but it’s been a little while since the last event. Fortunately, the latest one is now live, and it’s called the Crystal Collection Event. It runs until February 25th, and as the name implies, it involves you collecting some crystal shards!

You can get said crystal shards by completing Animals requests, but also by mining at the Shovelstrike Quarry (though only when the crystal shards icon is displayed on the map), and by completing a new set of Timed Goals (check out this post for more details about those).

But what are you going to do with all those crystals? Craft limited-time, crystal-themed pieces of clothing and furniture, obviously! Here’s everything you can craft:

  • crystal mist (cute): 100 Bells, 10 crystal shards
  • crystal mist elite (cute): 100 Bells, 10 crystal shards
  • blue rug (cool): 100 Bells, 15 crystal shards
  • crystal lamp (cute): 300 Bells, 40 crystal shards
  • snow princess wig (cute): 300 Bells, 40 crystal shards
  • large crystal (cute): 300 Bells, 40 crystal shards
  • crystal tree (cute): 500 Bells, 80 crystal shards
  • crystal bed (cute): 500 Bells, 80 crystal shards
  • crystal gazebo (cute): 800 Bells, 150 crystal shards

Also, a Crystal Craft Pack including Leaf Ticket x20 and crystal shards x25 is available in the store, during the event. You can only purchase it once!

Some quick notes:

  • you can only craft items during the event. If you start the crafting before the end, but it will only be completed after that, you’re still good;
  • naturally, crystal shards will only appear at the Shovelstrike Quarry during this event;
  • the Timed Goals run at the same time as the event.

Here’s pictures of the event, including the items you can craft:

As usual, you can keep up to date on the various Events and Content Updates for the game on this page!
