Ace Attorney 6: the rival prosecutor to be revealed in Famitsu this week

It’s been quite a while since we last heard about Ace Attorney 6, but it looks like things are about to get interesting again this week! Famitsu just posted its weekly batch of previews, and it turns out that Ace Attorney 6 will be featured this week.

According to the preview, Famitsu will reveal the rival prosecutor in its latest issue (which comes out tomorrow in Japan, with scans later today). Unfortunately, no name is given, and the artwork for this mysterious prosecutor is conveniently hidden in the preview below (not in the most subtle of ways).

But that’s not all: we will also get details about Athena Cykes (which was confirmed a few weeks ago, at the Jump Festa 2016), and naturally the Mood Matrix system (which already was in Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies). Finally, the magazine will have details about the basic gameplay systems (an more precisely the investigation and court parts).

Ace Attorney 6 (3DS) will be released this year in Japan. A European and North American release has already been confirmed.
